Plain language. What we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Effective date: May 19, 2026 · Last reviewed: May 19, 2026

The Creators Press ("we", "us", "our") is a boutique talent and PR agency based in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you interact with this website and our services, how we use it, and your rights.

This page is a plain-language summary. If anything is unclear or you'd like more detail, email hello@thecreatorspress.com.

What we collect

  • Email inquiries. When you email hello@ or partnerships@thecreatorspress.com, we receive your email address, name, and whatever you choose to share in your message.
  • Lead-capture popup. A small popup may appear when you visit the site. If you fill it in, we collect the name and email you provide, along with the page URL you submitted from. Submission is voluntary; closing the popup or ignoring it sends us nothing.
  • Creator application form. When you submit the form at thecreatorspress.com/creators/, we collect: your name, email, primary platform, handle or profile URL, audience size range, how you heard about us, your point of view, links to work you're proudest of, and the kinds of help you're looking for (brand deals, press, speaking, career strategy). Submission is voluntary and you provide this information by explicit consent at the point of submission.
  • Creator applications by email. If you apply by email instead of the form, we collect whatever you choose to share in your message — typically the same information above.
  • Brand partnership inquiries. When brands email us, we collect contact details, campaign brief, budget range, and any materials shared.
  • Server logs. This site runs on AWS CloudFront. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, request time) are retained for 30 days for security and performance monitoring only. They are not used to build profiles of visitors.

What we don't collect

  • We don't use cookies, advertising trackers, session replay tools, or analytics scripts on this website at the time of writing.
  • We don't fingerprint visitors.
  • We don't sell or rent any of the information we collect.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry
  • To evaluate creator fit (for applicants) or campaign fit (for brand inquiries)
  • To deliver services if we sign a written agreement
  • To comply with legal, tax, and contract obligations

Who we share it with

  • The creators we represent, only when relevant to a specific opportunity (e.g., a brand brief shared with a creator we're proposing for it).
  • Service providers who help us operate (email hosting, document storage, accounting) under confidentiality.
  • Legal authorities when required by valid legal process.
  • We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, for any purpose.

How long we keep it

  • Active client and creator relationships: duration of relationship plus 7 years (for tax and contract compliance).
  • General inquiries we don't act on: 24 months.
  • Server logs: 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these, email hello@thecreatorspress.com with the subject Privacy request. We respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, correct inaccurate data, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

EEA, UK, Swiss residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Our lawful bases for processing are (a) your consent where required, (b) performance of a contract, (c) our legitimate business interest in operating a talent agency, and (d) compliance with legal obligations. We don't transfer personal data outside your jurisdiction without appropriate safeguards.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page. The "effective date" reflects the most recent revision.
